jQuery and Microsoft – ScottGu’s Blog

that Microsoft will be shipping jQuery with Visual Studio going forward. We will distribute the jQuery JavaScript library as-is, and will not be forking or changing the source from the main jQuery branch. The files will continue to use and ship under the existing jQuery MIT license. We will also distribute intellisense-annotated versions that provide great Visual Studio intellisense and help-integration at design-time.

Another win for ScottGu and Microsoft! Well done! And this I believe is the way Microsoft should continue to do business in the future. Some might see it as embrace and extend, and in some respects it is, but in a good way. 🙂 Take my word for it.

Mini C# Lab

Mini C# Lab – Home

A handy tool for simple short C# code running and testing, you can save time on waiting for Visual Studio startup and avoid creating a lot of one-time only project files.

Cool, I very often have to create small samples just to test some ideas or validate some code that I’m using. This should come in handy.

Know your options, but above all, know your intentions and make sure that the code you’re writing correctly expresses your intent.

In Oslo – BizTalk Bootcamp course

So I’m in Oslo attending a BizTalk Bootcamp course. So far it’s not to hard, basically lots of Xml stuff that I knew before I came.

But BizTalk still looks interesting, but I can hardly wait to get started. Kinda bored of dull samples and stupid examples… 😉

yield is pretty cool and this was a simple and good example of how to use it and why you would want to.

Somasegar’s WebLog : MSDN Code Gallery – snippets, samples and resources

Interesting idea. I often find that I need just a small example of some code to start me off, just so that I don’t have to do it all from the beginning. This might be the best resource for those samples. Not much there right now, hopefully they’ll keep updating it.
